New video on design & recycling of electric cars

The EU ETN DEMETER and SIM² KU Leuven teams are delighted to share their new animation video, featuring Early Stage Researcher Gwen Bailey (KU Leuven). This Storyrunner video covers the challenging area of the design and recycling of the rare-earth permanent magnet motors used in hybrid and electric vehicles (HEVs). The DEMETER project aims to develop eco-friendly recycling methods for the present generation of HEVs while also developing novel motor designs (based on Design-for-Reuse/Recycling) for the new generation of HEVs.
