I did my BS (Hons.) in Applied Physics (2009) from Federal Urdu University of Arts, Science and Technology (FUUAST) Islamabad, Pakistan. My BS research thesis project was on “Synthesis and characterization of zinc selenide (ZnSe) thin films”. I did MS degree in Materials & Surface Engineering (2014) from National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan. My MS thesis project was on “Hydrothermal synthesis and characterization of BaTiO3 nanopowders with and without reduced Graphene Oxide (rGO)”. During my stay at NUST, I got an opportunity to work as “Research Associate/ Internee” at National Institute of Vacuum Science and Technology (NINVAST) Islamabad, Pakistan, where I worked on the “Fabrication of nanocomposites thin films via resistive and electron beam techniques”. I contributed a pioneer effort to establish “Materials Science Laboratory” at NINVAST as well as sharing academics for the undergraduate students. I also served as “Visiting Faculty Member” at the Department of Physics, International Islamic University, Islamabad Pakistan. I delivered lectures on “Heat and Thermodynamics”. My research areas relate to synthesis and characterization of novel nano-structured materials, nanocomposites and functional thin films.
