I am an early-stage researcher with MAGNETI Ljubljana d.d. enrolled as a doctoral student with the Jožef Stefan Institute (IJS) - at Ljubljana, Slovenia. My project here, is on exchange coupled SmCo magnets, and entails arriving at microstructures with high remanence.
I have a master's degree in Materials Science (2013; KTH, Stockholm, Sweden), with focus on nanomaterials. My thesis work was on the magnetism of nanocrystallized amorphous FeBSi, involving various techniques of synthesis and characterization to achieve vanishingly low coercivity and high saturation and remanent magnetization. I have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (2009; Nagpur University, Nagpur, India), where in my thesis I looked at the role of materials and structure in the efficiency of ultralight aircrafts. I also have experience in physics education, and science outreach.
My primary research interest is the experimental investigation of magnetism, especially at the nano-scale.
