The TOP STARS 2017 EIT RawMaterials Winter School introduces PhD students to entrepreneurial thinking and behavior, business and innovation processes, high-tech ventures marketing, and business model generation techniques. After 10 days of working in teams to identify a technical solution for two problems faced by two real companies and develop it into a business proposal, each team pitches their “start-up” to a jury of experts. His team on 1st place, DEMETER researcher Fernando Coelho, was invited to participate in the General Assembly of EIT – Raw Materials in Berlin.
